Student Speaker Nomination Form

Nominations are now being accepted for the Student Speaker representing the Spring Commencement Graduating Class on June 6, 2026.

Qualifications:

Complete and submit the nomination form by the deadline date of Friday, April 10, 2026.
Candidates may be nominated from the undergraduate and graduate classes and must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Nominees must be in Good Academic Standing with the University.
Students can nominate themselves or be nominated by faculty and staff members, or fellow students.
Nominees must not have been selected as a Bellevue University Student Speaker previously.
All Nominees must submit brief answers to the questions on the nomination form. If nominated by someone other than themselves, the questions will be sent to the nominee to complete and return by the deadline date of Friday, April 10, 2026.

Nominees:

The Commencement Student Speaker will receive:

Participation in the platform party processional and stage seating.
Photograph, name, and bio information (provided by the Student Speaker) printed in the Commencement Program, a Bellevue University commencement news release, The View Alumni Magazine, and Bellevue University social media channels.
Potential invitation to participate in local media interviews.

Media Disclosure:

The selected Student Speaker will have their photograph, name, and bio information (provided by the Student Speaker) printed in the Commencement Program, a Bellevue University commencement news release, The View Alumni Magazine, and Bellevue University social media channels.
If requested, the Student Speaker may be invited to participate in other media opportunities, such as local media interviews.
The selected Student Speaker will be required to sign a media release agreement permitting Bellevue University to capture and use photographs, video recordings and/or audio recordings of the Student Speaker in connection with commencement events.

To be considered for the Spring Commencement Graduating Class on June 6, 2026 Student Speaker, you must submit brief answers to the following questions. If you are nominating a Bellevue University Graduate the following questions will be sent to them and must be returned by the deadline date of Friday, April 10, 2026.
